Race Instructions 

Skipper’s meeting at 1:30 PM at the Marina Office.

Race starts at 3:00 PM.

Start Procedure:
5 minutes:            Red flag up, horn blast.
4 minutes:            Horn blast
1 minute:              Flag down, horn blast
Start:                     Horn blast

Course -  'A' Fleet:

This course will be run in a counter clockwise direction with the marks being taken to port.

The start/finish line will be between the shallow water buoy at the northern tip of Meeks bay located at N. 39.02.715 W. 120.06.533, and the Committee boat.

The Committee boat will be on the starboard end of the start line.

The first mark is the northern shallow water buoy in Rubicon Bay located at N. 39.01.179 W. 120.06.840

The second mark is the UC Davis weather buoy approximately 2 miles S.E. of Meeks Bay located at N. 39.02.466 W. 120.04.831

The finish will be south to the start finish line with Committee boat being taken on the starboard side (same as the start).

Trophies or Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place. The awards will be presented at the BBQ  immediately after the race.

One class, No Spinnakers,  Whether PHRF handicapping is used will be decided at the Skippers Meeting.

Course -  'B' Fleet:

The B Fleet sails a shorter course.   From the same Start line, the B fleet sails to the second Bliss buoy located
approximately 1/4 mile south of the second mark for the 'A' fleet.  Exact coordinates to be posted when available.
