Regret-a Regatta: Finally some decent weather for a race.
Winds were light but decent with occasional gusts to maybe 15 or 20.
Although I never got the official times to check PHRF ratings, out
of five boats it looks like Turner got first, Nolan second, and
Gallagher third. Pictures coming soon... 2008 Season: Commodores Cup 8/23/08: John Turner in first, Bob Pelton second and Lou Gerhart third. For actual times and PHRF adjusted results click here. Meeks Bay Race Day 8/02/08 : Without PHRF adjustment - Bob Pelton in first, John Nolan second, and Steve Matles in third. After PHRF - Matles takes second and Nolan third, Pelton still gets first. For actual times click here. Regret-a-Regatta: 7/19/08: John Nolan first, John Turner second, and Steve Matles third. No PHRF for this race. Opening Day 6/21/08: Not the greatest day for a race. Very strong, gusty winds with occasional powerful squall gusts which took out Bob Peltons mainsail and damaged several other boats. Out of five starts, only two finished. (Nolan and Turner if I remember right). No PHRF for this race.
